J. D. Sharp's Obituary
SHARP, J.D. age 76 of Corwin passed away Wed. Sept. 16, 2009 at his residence. J.D. was a Korean Conflict veteran and retired from GM in 1987. He is affiliated with the Corwin Pentecostal Church and greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, sports, and bluegrass music. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Flora Sharp, one brother Charlie Sharp, and two sisters Tempie Fritts and Bessie Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha "Estelle", son and daughter-in-law David and Diana Sharp of Corwin, brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Barbara Sharp of Waynesville, sister and brother-in-law Easter and Columbus Taylor of Corwin, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services 1 PM Sat. Sept. 19 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Fri. at the church.
