SHELTON, Jean age 81 of Waynesville was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord Friday 8/24/07. Preceded in death by a daughter Nancy K. Survived by her husband Dr. Ray L. Shelton; married in Germany 60 yrs. ago. They pastored together Ridgeville Community Church for 29 years and she was the church secretary. Also survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law Ray E. & Beth of Middletown; 2 daughters Cheryl Turner & her husband Buddy of Bastrop, TX and Faith J. Shelton of Dayton; 3 grandchildren Misty R. Mosquito, Megen E. Saez, & Melissa K. Gibson; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister Louise Middleton & her husband Al of Edmonds, WA. Funeral services are 1:00Pm Tuesday 8/28/07 at the Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home Waynesville. Dr. Ray L. Shelton will officiate. Burial Miami Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bridges for Peace, PMB 33145, 5103 S. Sheridan Rd., Tulsa.
