Jeannie M. Krebs' Obituary
KREBS, Jeannie M, age 65, of Waynesville and formerly of Kettering, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 5, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family.
Jeannie was born in Dayton to the late William “Mike” and Anne (Royal) Flinn. She grew up in Kettering while attending Meadow Lawn Elementary, Indian Riffle Junior High, and Fairmont East High School. She graduated from East in 1977. She retired as a bank teller from the Day Air Credit Union in Centerville after approximately 15 years of service in banking. Earlier in her working career, she worked at GM - Harrison Radiator for several years.
Somewhat reserved, humble, caring, and independent, Jeannie was family-oriented her entire life. She grew up enjoying baton and acrobatics from Kay’s School of Dance. In addition, she learned to play the guitar and performed at The World Affair a couple of times. Jeannie developed a love of bowling, where she met her spouse for the first time, and played in various leagues at Woodman Lanes and Playmor Lanes. With exceptional talent, her teams would often qualify for state tournaments. She was a big fan of the Disney brand, which grew into an extensive collection of memorabilia, movies, and merchandise. Among many things, she will be remembered for the amazing pool parties she enjoyed hosting for family and friends at her home. In addition, she also enjoyed the tradition of getting together with the Flinn family for Sunday dinners regularly.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Don; two sons, Jason Reynolds and Joe (Kristy) Krebs; daughter, Lisa Krebs; grandchildren, Emily and Julia Bratton, Ian Browne, Ashley Krebs, Jachin Bartley, and Zoe Reynolds; one brother, Michael (Peggy) Flinn; sister, Kathy (Sam) Mumpower; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
