Jeri Beth Murray's Obituary
MURRAY, Jeri Beth, age 51, of Waynesville and formerly of Carlisle, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020.
Jeri has been employed at UC Health at West Chester for the past year. She greatly enjoyed her job, working on the mother/baby unit. She cherished the friendships she made with co-workers over the past year of work.
Jeri was fun to be around and had a unique way of making people laugh. Extremely unselfish, she was always loyal to friends and family. It was in her character to go without, if she knew that others had needs. She was a hard worker and was proud of her contributions to her family. With an adventurous spirit, Jeri even spent some time driving for Uber in the Cincinnati area, which resulted in as many fun stories and adventures as income. She also had a persistent and determined personality, having successfully fought and beat cancer in the past several years.
She greatly enjoyed working with crafts, especially those that contributed toward home remodels and enhancements. She also enjoyed dancing, fishing, making bonfires, and riding on the back of the motorcycle with her husband around the Caesar Creek Lake area. The beach was her happy place, especially in the Caribbean. But, the numerous trips to Disney and St. Pete Beach when the kids were young will always be remembered as some of her happiest times. Of course, in the past several years, she devoted herself to her children and their sports and aspirations. She was a very proud mom, for Casie’s artistic skills, Logan’s military career, and for Rachel earning a basketball scholarship. She was just as proud to be a grandma. In fact, while rooting on her kids at games, everyone often talked to her about her kids, which she proudly discussed, but she always seemed to turn the conversation to her little granddaughter, Lilly Rose.
She was preceded in death by one son Levi and brother-in-law Gary Moore. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Shane; three children Casie Micomonaco, Logan Murray, and Rachel Murray; granddaughter Lilly Rose; her parents Raymond and Carol Langford; and sister Lisa Moore.
The family will receive friends 11 AM - 4 PM Saturday, June 27 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. A celebration of life service will be held 4 PM Saturday, June 27 at the funeral home.
