Jesse Lee Long's Obituary
LONG, Jesse Lee, age 76, of Waynesville passed away Fri. Oct. 9, 2015 at Middletown Atrium Hospital. Jesse graduated from Springboro High School, class of '58, and was an Army veteran. He worked 10 years for NCR and retired from McDonalds after more than 30 years of service. A part-time farmer, he greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a grandson Matthew Lee Long; his parents Jesse Matthew Long and Mafrey Thomas; two sisters Betty Tindall and Marlene Payton; and his brother Robert Long. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Darlene; son Harold Lee (Wyn) Long; daughter Lois Long-Sorah; five grandchildren Rachael (James) Long-Noble, James Lee (Brittany) Long, Jonathan Lee Long, Jena Rose Sorah, and Jesse Robert Sorah; great grandchildren Emerson Lee Long, Josiah James Lee Noble, and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services 1 PM Wed. Oct. 14 at Full Gospel Tabernacle, Waynesville. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Tues. at the church.
