John M. Brown Jr.'s Obituary
BROWN, John M. Jr. age 59, of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at his residence.
John worked for Standard Register as a press operator. Following his retirement, he went back to school and earned an Associate’s Degree in Systems Administration from Edison State.
Growing up in a military family, John loved to travel and lived in Japan during his youth. He also lived for 10 years in Puerto Rico. He owned a sailboat for several years while living in Key West and took several opportunities to sail throughout the Florida Keys and the Caribbean.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Brown. He is survived by his spouse, Jeffrey Zahn; one son, John M. Brown III; two brothers, Jerry (Lisa) Brown and Joe (Melissa) Brown; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 28, at Miami Cemetery in Corwin. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
