I lost my hero when dad went on home to be with Jesus. He was always there...for me to vent, listen, and give advice and he always knew what I had to hear. Dad, you have NO idea what impact you had in the wide wide world. You lived up to the words courage, honor, and integrity. You walked the walk of someone who made a career out of the Untied States Army and because of you I was exposed to many cultures as we lived wherever Uncle Sam sent us. I wish you knew how I looked at you in awe....you were a high school dropout who set goals and before you retired you had a college education and made Warrant Officer. There is a piece of my heart that is now gone and there is no way I will ever forget what you tried to instill in me. I know I disappointed you alot but I will NEVER FORGET when you used the phrase "I'm proud of you". I soared like an eagle!
Dad I know my loss is heavens gain and heaven is the place we all strive to get to. One day I will see you walking on streets of Gold talking to Jesus...what a wonderful, peaceful thought.
Rest Easy Soldier....you fought a good fight and stood your ground. I love you more than words can even express and I'm gonna MISS you in so many ways!##imported-begin##John Brown Jr##imported-end##
