John Hitchcock Jr's Obituary
HITCHCOCK, John Jr. age 81 of Lebanon passed away Mon. July 27, 2009 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash. John was a WWII Navy veteran and retired from GM in 1985 after 38 years of service. He was a proud Scout Master when his children were young and he also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Della Mae; three sons Daniel (Rebecca), John S. (Deborah), and Ronald Hitchcock all of Lebanon; three daughters Diana (Bill) Davis of Lebanon, Karen (Bill) Fox of Springboro, and Sheila (John) O'Brien of Powell; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two brothers Daniel (Doris) of CA and Fred Roger Hitchcock of FL. Funeral services 2 PM Fri. July 31 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Noon - 2 PM Fri. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash.
