John "Dan" Gray's Obituary
GRAY, John “Dan” age 76 of Springboro passed away Wed. Aug. 22, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. Dan graduated from Ohio Univ. in 1954, was an Air Force Veteran, and owned Dimco-Gray Company for over 30 years. He was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church in Centerville, Miami Chapter O.E.S. #107, Waynesville Masonic Lodge #163, President of the Dayton Opera Assoc., and was a long term member, elder, and trustee of the Fairmont Presbyterian Church. He greatly enjoyed music, nature, visiting Cape Hatteras, NC, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Ollie Gray and one brother Robert Gray. He is survived by his wife Joan, married 54 years; four sons Richard (Suzy) Gray of Centerville, Michael Gray of Springboro, Christopher Gray of Springboro, and Dennis (Susan) Gray of Dayton; three daughters Susan Gipson of Miamisburg, Kathy (Brad) Whaley of MI, and Amy Gray of NC; six grandchildren; and one great grandson. Funeral services 10:30 A.M. Sat. Aug. 25 at the Heritage Presbyterian Church, Centerville. Pastor Karen Cassedy officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Fri. at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Eastern Star, Masonic, and Scottish Rite services will be held at 8 P.M. Fri. at the funeral home.
