John L. Fillmore, Sr.'s Obituary
FILLMORE John L. Sr. age 76 of Waynesville passed away Sun. Sept. 14,
2008. John was a Korean War Air Force veteran and retired from DESC in
1986 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Waynesville
American Legion post 615 and greatly enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Michala in 1970, two brothers Jack
and Robert Fillmore, and one sister Helen Louise Fillmore. He is
survived by his son John L. Fillmore Jr. (Tammy); grandson Hunter, and
three sisters Tina, Hazel, and Sue. Funeral services Noon Thurs. Sept.
18 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery,
Corwin. The family will receive friends 10 am - Noon Thurs. at the
