John W. Rudd's Obituary
RUDD, John W. age 68 of Waynesville passed away unexpectedly Fri. Sept. 28, 2007 at his residence. John was a teacher and administrator at Lebanon Schools for several years and later retired as the Principal of Poasttown Elementary School (Madison School District in West Middletown) in 1981. He served 12 years on the Wayne Local School Board and greatly enjoyed dealing in cars, gardening, traveling to Florida in the winter months, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by one son Rodney, his parents Wesley “Wes” and Malvrie Rudd, and two sisters Ora Crabtree and Lora Taulbee. He is survived by his wife Sandra, married 37 years; son Dan Rudd; mother-in-law Margie Schenk; sister-in-law Carolyn Grayson; two nieces Sherri Davis and Wanda Hamilton; three nephews Scott Sherritt, Elmer Taulbee, and Sherman Taulbee; great nieces Alyssia, Kyla, and Elizabeth; and numerous other great nieces and nephews and close cousins. Memorial services 1 PM Wed. Oct. 3 at the Waynesville United Methodist Church. Pastor Jing Chow and Pastor Tammy Jo Reiser officiating. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
