Jon F. Berges' Obituary
BERGES, Jon F. age 74 of Waynesville passed away Sun. June 24, 2007 at Kettering Hospital. Jon graduated from Fairmont High School in Kettering in 1951 and retired from Frigidaire after 25 years of service and later at Standard Register after 10 years. He was an usher and 50 year member of the Church of the Cross in Kettering, financial secretary for the Warren County Conservation Assoc., and member of the Waynesville Masonic Lodge #163. In addition to volunteering at Kettering Hospital, he greatly enjoyed gardening, nature, mushroom hunting, and bowling. He is survived by his wife Pat, married 50 years; two daughters and sons-in-law Charlotte and Jim Spieth of Beavercreek and Lu Ann and Chris Ross of Centerville; five grandchildren Bethany Spieth, Jordan, Matt, Andy, and Heather Ross; sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Tony Marquitz of Centerville; and three step sisters Alverda, Judy, and Betty. Funeral services 10 AM Fri. June 29 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Pastor John Whitaker officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Thurs. at the funeral home.
