Joseph Ronald Gural's Obituary
GURAL, Joseph Ronald, age 68, of Monroe and formerly of San Jose, California, passed away Thurs. March 1, 2018 at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati.
Joe retired from the US Postal Service in 2010 after 20 years of service. Hard headed, yet funny with a heart of gold, he had an outgoing personality and could strike up a conversation and make a friend with anyone. He loved loud country music and was an avid collector of baseball cards, vinyl records, and other memorabilia. He was very family oriented and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Joe was a San Jose Sharks ice hockey season ticket holder for over 20 years. He was also a season ticket holder of the San Jose Giants baseball and would often travel to spring training in Arizona with his kids. Spending time at baseball and hockey games were a huge part of Joe’s life.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Charlotte Gural and his sister Sandy Reeves. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Patti; four children Melissa (Phil) Johnson, Jason (Kayla) Gural, Kristin (Paul) Hepworth, and Sarah (Jon) Regoli; three step-sons Billy (Angela) Lewis, T.J. Steele, and Shannon (Kaori) Smith; 12 grandchildren; and one great grandson.
