Mr. Joseph C Lamb's Obituary
LAMB, Joseph C. age 90, of Waynesville, passed away Fri. July 17, 2015 at Quaker Heights Care Community, Waynesville. Joe was a WWII Army veteran and later retired from GM after 15 years of service. In his earlier years, he did some farm work and owned a local Sunoco station in Waynesville. He was a member of the Corwin Pentecostal Church and greatly enjoyed attending church, socializing at McDonalds, and visiting the cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in May of 2014; his parents Sylvester and Lilly Lamb; three brothers Russell, Norman, and Wilbur Lamb; and two sisters Janice Clark and Gladys Copas. He is survived by his three daughters Jackie (Jim) Arthur, Shirley Culberson, and Connie Joe Faul; five grandchildren Angela Keegan, Joseph (Terri) Culberson, Danara (John) Shaffer, Jaime (Mike) Shaffer, and Rae Ann Williams; nine great grandchildren; two brothers Everett (Betty) Lamb and Ralph (Peggy) Lamb; and one sister Geneva Osborn. Funeral services 1 PM Wed. July 22 at the Corwin Pentecostal Church. Phillip Hoskins will be officiating. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tues. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
