Joseph L. McFadden's Obituary
McFADDEN, Joseph L. age 90, of Waynesville, passed away Fri. May 20, 2016. Joseph was a WWII Navy veteran. He retired from Monsanto Research, Miamisburg in 1988 after 21 years of service. He was a member of Crossview Christian Church, Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, and the American Legion Post 615, all in Waynesville. He enjoyed sports and participating in the Waynesville Sauerkraut Festival. He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys in 2011, his parents Paul and Elizabeth McFadden, and his three brothers Richard, Edward, and Fred McFadden. He is survived by three daughters Judith A. Harrison, Nancy J. (Ken) French, and Carolynn Anderson; eight grandchildren Christopher & Jonathan French, Anna (Joel) Hedges, Laura Anderson (Nick Holmes), and Aaron, Ethan, Kara, & Christa Anderson; and one sister Helen (Jim) Adams. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tues. May 31 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. A memorial service will also be held 3 PM Mon. June 6 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home.
