Joseph A. McGuire's Obituary
McGuire, Joseph “Joe” A., age 51, of Dayton and formerly of Cincinnati, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023.
Friendly, caring, and helpful to his family, Joe enjoyed joking around with those he loved and was like a big kid himself. Kids loved Joe, and he loved them. He was especially caring to his sister, Christal. He was also caring and helpful to his aunt after the loss of her husband. In his free time, he enjoyed hanging out with his friend, John John. Together, they enjoyed working on cars. He will be remembered for how much he loved pets, especially his beloved Pit Bulls, Diamond and Rosie. In addition, he always made a point to visit his mother a couple of times each week.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy, in 2003; his dad, Steven McGuire; grandfathers, Manford Abner and James McGuire; and an uncle, Jon Abner. He is survived by his daughter, Natasha Nicole McGuire; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Luke, Lily, and Sage; his mother, Betty Ann (Jerry) Blair; his sister, Christal Ann Blair; brother, Steven McGuire; grandmothers, Betty Marie Abner and Cassie McGuire; two aunts, Nancy Haney and Joyce (Ron) Mefford; and two uncles, Eugene Abner and Dan (Judy) Abner.
The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Friday, August 25, at the Miamisburg Full Gospel Tabernacle. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1 PM at the church. Tim Noble will be officiating the services. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family.
