Joseph Sikora Jr's Obituary
SIKORA, Joseph Jr., age 90, of Waynesville, passed away Sat. April 14, 2018 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville. Joseph honorably served in the U.S. Army, serving in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired from GM in 1975 after 30 years of service.
Joseph was a member of the Waynesville Masonic Lodge #163 and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. He loved to fish, especially the many trips he and his wife made to the Thunder Bay area of Canada. He also enjoyed boating, camping, and working in his yard. Super friendly, he will be remembered as a genuinely good guy and a helpful neighbor.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eva in 2007, one grandson Scott Wilson, his parents Joe and Ida Sikora, and his sister Ruth Thill. He is survived by his daughter Betty Wilson; son Ricky (Stephanie) Sikora; granddaughter Tracey (Eric) Ihnat; great granddaughter Eva Ihnat; and three step great grandchildren Zach, Hannah, and Nikki Ihnat.
