Juanita Shearer's Obituary
SHEARER, Juanita P. age 79 of Franklin passed away Wed. Sept. 10, 2008 at her residence. Juanita was a member of the Dixie Highway Christian Center in Franklin and previously attended the Dodds Pentecostal Church for many years. She greatly enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Miley and Helen Powell, one brother Paul Powell, and two sisters Betty Weber and Adrienne Kersey. She is survived by her husband Carl, married 58 years; two daughters Connie Winchek of Wilmington and Polly Sullivan of Springboro; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three brothers Charles (Fay), Ray (Atha), and Eugene Powell; and three sisters Mary Jane Amburgy, Donna Hershner, and Ann (Bob) Thornsburg. Funeral services 11 AM Sat. Sept. 13, 2008 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Pastor Dave Bowling officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Fri. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for all their special care.
