Judy A. Kier's Obituary
KIER, Judy A. age 64 of Waynesville passed away Tues. July 18, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Judy was employed at the Wayne Local Schools, faithfully serving for over 40 years and was recently inducted in to the WLS Hall of Fame. She was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church and greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and flower gardening. She was well known for teaching aerobics, running fitness camps, and her participation in numerous road races. She has always been an advocate for healthy living, and in the 1980’s she helped initiate a program called “feeling good”, a district wide wellness program for the Wayne Local School staff and students. She is survived by her husband Bill, married 48 years; two daughters and sons-in-law Cindy and Keith Houseman of Waynesville and Julie and Mike Baumer of Bellbrook; three grandchildren Brandon Dray and Chris and Nicole Baumer; her father and mother Dick and Betty Brant of Lebanon; one brother Dick Brant Jr. of Lebanon; one sister Leeanne Russell of Lebanon; two nieces Amanda Johnson and Brittany Brant; nephew Curt Russell; brother-in-law Tom Kier; and mother-in-law Pauline Kier. Funeral services 10:00 A.M. Mon. July 24 at the Waynesville United Methodist Church. Pastor Joe Hansen, Jing Chow, and Tammy Jo Reiser officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Waynesville United Methodist Church or the Judy Kier Wayne Local Scholarship Fund. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. Judy has requested a celebratory luncheon to be held in her memory immediately following the graveside service Mon. at the Waynesville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
