June Wientjes' Obituary
WIENTJES, June, age 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, November 6, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton.
A 50 year resident of Waynesville, she attended the Waynesville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, flower gardening, cake decorating, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by loving husband of 50 years, John, in 1997; her parents, Talmadge and Laura Chitwood; three brothers, Eddie, Jack, and Herbert Chitwood; and three sisters, Georgia House, Woody Lahm, and Marie McBeath. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Jiles Farley, Sally and Kenny McCloud, and Susan and Danny McCloud all of Waynesville; eight grandchildren, Cathy (Grafton) Bowersox of Waynesville, Michael (Katie) Farley of GA, Kristie Schram of Waynesville, Kaylie McCloud of Waynesville, Regina (Michael) Kelley of SC, Rebecca (James) Hale of Cincinnati, and Renee and John McCloud both of Waynesville; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Gabriel, Peyton, and Jade; one brother, M.C. Chitwood of KY; and one sister and brother-in-law, Almeda and Louie New of KY.
Funeral services 11 AM Tuesday, November 10 at the Waynesville First Baptist Church. Pastor Terry McBeath officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Mon. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
