Karen F. Clark's Obituary
CLARK, Karen F. age 63, of Kings Mills, passed away Sun. Oct. 1, 2017 at Hospice of Butler & Warren County.
Karen was a 1972 graduate of Mason High School. She retired from Kings Local Schools in 2012 after working more than 30 years, serving as a librarian among other duties.
Karen spent her life nurturing and caring for her family. Getting the family together was very important to her. As a result, she loved the holidays, especially Christmas. She greatly enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, crocheting, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren. After her grandchildren were born, her schedule revolved around their sports and activities. She could always be counted on to be there cheering them on from the crowd.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Eva Nordstrom. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry; four daughters Kristy (Doug) Carmack, Kacy Clark, Kandy (Piotr) Swierk, and Katy Clark; six grandchildren Blake, Sara, Kayla, Lucas, Leona, and Eva; two brothers Kenneth Nordstrom and John Nordstrom; one sister Joyce Ridner; and mother-in-law Norma J. Clark.
Funeral services 12 PM Fri. Oct. 6 at Full Gospel Church of God in Lebanon. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason. The family will receive friends 10 AM - 12 PM Fri. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler & Warren County. Karen would want to be remembered for her devotion to her family and as the best grandma one could be. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
