Katherine Annette Jordan's Obituary
JORDAN, Katherine Annette, age 87, of Oakwood and formerly of Waynesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2023, at Bethany Village in Centerville.
Annette, as she was known, loved traveling with her husband, James, and frequently recalled their many road trips and memories made along the way. She always made their home a welcoming place to visit with family and friends, preparing delicious meals for her guests. Her expertise in needlework of all kinds was on display throughout their home and beyond. Annette loved music of all genres and especially loved singing with James. They would often harmonize together at gatherings, singing songs like “Sweet Adeline” and many others. Later in life, she earned her real estate license and found great pleasure in the new pursuit while also continuing her involvement with volunteer organizations like TWIGs (Terrific Women in Giving).
Annette touched many lives and showed her love in a multitude of ways. She was always there with her beautiful and kind smile, ready to give a warm hug, comforting and encouraging words, and a helping hand. She will be deeply missed.
Annette was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, James; daughter, Jennifer; her parents; and her three brothers, Jack, Joseph, and David. Annette is survived by her daughter, Jayna (Larry); son, John (Barb); six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Corwin. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
