Katherine Poole's Obituary
POOLE, Katherine, age 75, of Lancaster and formerly of Harveysburg, passed away Sun., June 30, 2019 in Lancaster.
Katherine graduated from Berea High School in KY, class of ’62. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God in Lebanon.
Feisty, independent, faithful, and devoted, Katherine loved to laugh. She greatly enjoyed singing in her church choir, word search puzzles, flower gardening, and the many family trips to Gatlinburg. She also loved the Christmas season and always looked forward to decorating for the holidays. She collected angels and doves and will be remembered for her enjoyment of oatmeal cream pies and honey buns.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2007; her parents Elmer and Pearl Isaacs; two brothers Charles “Shug” Isaacs and “Hard Tac” Isaacs; and three sisters Lucille Richardson, Pauline Perkins, and Doris Isaacs. She is survived by two daughters Anita (Tom) Poindexter and Teresa (Larry) Gillum; two grandchildren Brenna (Brew) Turner and Emily Gillum; great grandson Levi; two brothers Bailey Isaacs and Harry (Patti) Isaacs; and one sister Linda (Jerry) Horn.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Sat. July 6 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
