Kenneth "KC" A. Christensen's Obituary
CHRISTENSEN, Kenneth “KC” A., age 35, of Waynesville and formerly of Richmond, IN and Mayland, TN, passed away Fri. May 4, 2018.
KC attended Monterey High School in Tennessee, where he was an avid athlete in basketball, football, and baseball. He was currently employed at Kelchner/Wood Group in Springboro.
KC was loving, fun to be with, boisterous at times, and devoted to his son. He was also known for his sharp wit and ability to pull off a good prank. He was like a big teddy bear and he loved to laugh. He had a passion and intelligence to teach his son and other children the game of basketball at Wayne Local Schools and through his son’s AAU select team, Emerge Elite. He also enjoyed listening to music in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenny Christensen and Jennifer Wyatt. He is survived by the love of his life, Tiffany Brumfield, together 18 years; son Kaden Christensen; two brothers Brandon Platt and Mitch Legg; two sisters Nicole (David) Bowles and Brooklyn Ladd; great aunt Birdie Dees; aunt Connie (Mike) Stone; uncle Jeff Wyatt; and special nephew and nieces Elijah, Maddie, and Justice.
A celebration of life visitation will be held 3-7 PM Thurs. May 10 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Immediately following the visitation, you are encouraged to share in a meal with the family at the Quaker Heights Community Room, located at the Assisted Living wing entrance off of Edwards Rd. in Waynesville.
