Kevin A. Greth's Obituary
GRETH, Kevin A., age 59, of Waynesville, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.
Kevin earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He retired in 2014 as a Pharmacist at Kettering Hospital.
Somewhat quiet, but quirky in a fun way, Kevin lived his life like the old Sinatra song, My Way! Always mechanically inclined, he loved working on and repairing engines. Always interested in car engines, he found reasons to work on just about any type. His greatest passion in life was boating on Dale Hollow Lake. While he enjoyed the beauty and serenity of the lake, he also loved running his Glastron at high speed, to hear the perfectly maintained engine roar just the way he expected it to. Always digging into how things worked, Kevin was quite intelligent and was inspired by the intricacies of day trading in the stock market.
While Kevin often found peace in quiet times, he found joy in visiting his brother’s family in New York State and his aunt Marilyn in Michigan. He never hesitated to offer his aunt assistance during his visits, often with yard work or house needs. Among many things, he will be remembered for how much he loved his boat, especially for how meticulous he was in keeping it maintained and immaculate, and for his pride in being able to fix things himself.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Sharon Greth. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Greg (Sharon) Greth; two nieces, Lauren (Ross) Cooper and Courtney Greth; his great-nephew, Cole, son of Lauren; and his aunt, Marilyn Leighty.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1 to 3 PM on Monday, December 1, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Condolences at https://www.stubbsconner.com.
