Kimberly "Kim" Jean Kidd Dorgan's Obituary
DORGAN, Kimberly “Kim” Jean Kidd, age 49, of Oregonia and formerly of Waynesville, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Bethesda North Hospital.
Kim graduated from Warren County Career Center and Waynesville High School. She was a dedicated cafeteria worker at Clinton-Massie High School, where she faithfully served for over 10 years. She took pride in her work and the relationships she built with students and staff throughout the years. She also had a passion for helping others, often volunteering with the Boy Scouts and being a Clinton Massie band mom. She used her cosmetology skills to care for others, often caring for older individuals and family members in meaningful ways.
Kim was a proud and loving “Mimi” whose life revolved around her family. She had a deep love for baking, especially making peanut butter fudge, peanut butter pie, birthday cakes, and Christmas cookies. Christmas was one of her favorite times of the year, and she found great joy in creating special memories for her loved ones. She collected items involving The Grinch. She enjoyed cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and attending festivals, such as the Sauerkraut Festival, Apple Festival, and local corn festivals. She was known for decorating with snowmen, had a fondness for primitive farmhouse-style décor, and collected cozy blankets. Kim loved vacationing in Gatlinburg and Tybee Island, Georgia. She was known as a thoughtful party planner who made birthdays, weddings, and holidays feel extra special.
Stubborn, sassy, and a little feisty, Kim was also kind-hearted, creative, loyal, and deeply loving. She was a loyal and devoted family member, a thoughtful planner, and someone who brought warmth and personality into every room she entered. She was thought of as the party planner for all holidays and birthdays. She was a proud mother and grandmother, and her children and grandchildren were truly the center of her world.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mydie Kidd. She is survived by her spouse, Mike; her two sons, Hunter Adkins and Michael Dorgan; her daughter, Tiffany (Travis) Gibson; her three grandchildren, Jacob, Payton, and Dawson; her two brothers, Randy Parson (Missy) and Tommy Kidd (Sharon); two nephews, James Parson and Thomas Kidd; six nieces, Shana, Amber, and Katie Parsons, Megan, Emily, and Ashley Kidd; a special sister in law, Vicky (Keith) Yocum; along with extended family members, and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Pastor Jeff Morhous will be officiating. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Corwin. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
