Lana Sue Durham's Obituary
DURHAM, Lana Sue, age 74, of Oregonia, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024.
Lana was a member of the Morrow Church of the Nazarene and immensely enjoyed attending church. Christmas was her favorite holiday because she loved celebrating Christ’s birth. Her passion was reading. She had an extensive collection of books, especially about philosophy. Reading was a way for her imagination to take over and for her to explore different experiences. Her son was her pride and joy; she lived vicariously through his adventures. For the last 12 years, she lived with her sister and they were each other’s constant companions. They went everywhere together.
Lana was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Mildred Rexroat. She is survived by her son, Rob (Meg Goris) Rexroat; sister, Lynda Hunt; and brother, Danny Rexroat.
Private services will be held at a later date at the family's convenience. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family.
