Lattie "Buel" Wilson's Obituary
WILSON, Lattie “Buel” age 85 of Kettering passed away Thurs. Aug. 31, 2006 at Kettering Hospital. Born Nov. 7, 1920 to Francis and Effie Wilson in Scottsville, KY. Buel was a WWII Army Veteran, 1st Armored Division, and received a silver star, a bronze star, and a purple heart award. He was founder and owner of Wilson Sign Company with over 38 years of service, member of the Free Methodist Church in Huber Heights, and former member of the South Dayton Optimist Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine “Gerry” in 2005; one son Bradford Wilson; and four sisters Cora Forrester, Myrtle Smith, Joyce Sue Carter, and Beatrice Kioski. He is survived one son David Wilson of Springfield; one daughter and son-in-law Paula and Frederic Mullen of Kettering; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three sisters Goldia Carver of IN, Lucille Douglas of Akron, and Juanita and her husband Lawrence Parker of TN; and two daughters-in-law Teri of Miamisburg and Tish of Miamisburg. Funeral services were 1:00 P.M. Tues. Sept. 5 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family received friends 5-8 P.M. Mon. at the funeral home.
