Laurance Arthur Ward's Obituary
WARD, Laurance Arthur age 87 of Waynesville and formerly lived at Hillcrest Bay in Parker, AZ passed away Wed. Oct. 8, 2014 at his residence. An Army and Air Force veteran of WWII, he retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1984 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and greatly enjoyed ham radio, hunting, fishing, boating, RV travel, motorcycles, and computers. He was preceded in death by his parents Mount Vernon and Edith Nora Ward, one brother, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie; two daughters Laurie (John) Dodsworth and Martha Prespentt; two grandchildren Bethany (Jeff) Sharratt and Thomas White II; two great grandchildren Sierra and Johnathan Sharratt; three nephews Bradley Ward, Ron Carpenter, and Steven Addis; and niece Merilee Addis.
