Laurence Gordon Krist's Obituary
KRIST, Laurence Gordon age 65 of Waynesville, OH and formerly of Akron passed away Thurs. May 17, 2012. He was a Vietnam Navy veteran and retired from AT&T (previously Ohio Bell) in 2001 after more than 30 years of service. He was a strong supporter of Team Greyhound of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Krist, mother Helen Walus (nee Gordon), and one brother Bob Walus. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Catherine, step father Bill Walus, one brother Bryan (Deb) Walus, and one sister Sandy (Bill) Ellis. Services 11 AM Mon. May 21 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville, OH. Burial in Columbiana County Memorial Park, East Liverpool, OH. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Sun. at the funeral home.
