Lavone Conley's Obituary
CONLEY, Lavone age 92 of Waynesville passed away Sun. Nov. 7, 2010 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home, Waynesville. Lavone was born July 7, 1918 to Harry and Alice Osborn. She graduated from Harveysburg High School in 1936. She was a member of the Springfield Friends Meeting and past Worthy Matron of the Miami Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She performed upholstering work out of her home for over 40 years and also assisted her late husband on the family farm. For several years she volunteered at Clinton Memorial Hospital and enjoyed crocheting blankets and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1999 and one son Ronald in 1968. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Charles and Sandra Conley; three grandchildren Brian and his wife Stacey Conley, Kristen and her husband Tim McGraw, and Matthew Conley; three great grandchildren Haley, Dawson, and Jackson; and one brother Joseph and his wife Loris Osborn. Graveside services 1 PM Wed. Nov. 10 at Springfield Friends Cemetery. Pastor Nancy McCormick officiating. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
