Suzie was such a great person to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with Suzie's family as they grieve her loss.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Susan. We started at Hillsboro Kroger together many years ago. She is the reason I stayed with Kroger. Every time I wanted to quit she talked me into staying. She was an amazing person and a great friend. I remember Matt and Jenna as children. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Your mom was an awesome and fun loving person. I will miss her terribly.
Sunday August 11, 2017 the emergency room Doctor looked at your scan results and said your cancer is progressing fast. You looked at me and said Dennis “I want to Live.” I was lost for words, I didn’t know how to answer you. Then you set an example for me and started fighting this dreadful disease until the very end. Always smiling and being concerned about all the people we met along the way.
With a life-threatening illness comes the urgency to say it all and do it all. And along with that is the need to protect your loved one, find any "cure", search for alternative treatments. I believe that positive things emerge from troubled times. I also believe we will meet again, the next time you can help me with my first steps.
