Lillian Ruth Berry's Obituary
BERRY, Lillian Ruth, age 83, of Waynesville, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her residence. She was born November, 23, 1937 to William and Jessie Wilder in Booneville, Kentucky. She was a 1956 graduate of Lebanon High School in Ohio. While being a homemaker most of her life, after the death of her husband, she worked at various antique stores in Waynesville, Ohio.
As talkative as Ruth was, she greatly enjoyed the peace and serenity from reading a good book. She loved all genres. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and sports in her spare time and was a huge fan of UK basketball. She was always up for the opportunity to go to a garage sale or a thrift store and shop to her hearts content. She was always ready for the Christmas season, she looked forward to her two favorite things: decorating and shopping. Among many things, she will be remembered for her tender heart and her love of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar, in 1991; her parents; and two sisters Judy Warrick and Paula Wilder. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Bowling; three grandchildren Jessica (Jake) Sheets, Lindsey (James) Hooser, and Brandon Bowling; and two nephews Steve (Malissa) Warrick and John (Chris) Warrick.
