Lillian Grace Snyder Bursey's Obituary
Bursey, Lillian Grace Snyder, age 93, of Beavercreek and formerly of Waynesville, passed away Sat. May 12, 2018 at Trinity of Beavercreek. Lillian graduated from Stephens City High School in VA. She retired after over 10 years of service from Mary L. Cook Public Library in Waynesville. Along with her husband Charles, she operated the Arrowhead Orchard in Waynesville. She was a longtime member of the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene. In her free time, she greatly enjoyed writing Christian poetry, which has been published in Proclaiming Grace in 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002, Charles H. Bursey, Jr.; parents Thurston O. and Lula M. Snyder; brother Ward (Julia) Snyder; and two sisters Marie Luttrell and Anna Lee (Melvin) Sandy. She is survived by four daughters Carolyn Dailey of UT, Janice (Rick) Williams of VA, Sharon Applegate of NY, and LeighAnn (Anthony) Capizzi of Centerville; and four grandchildren Shannon (Matt) Crabtree of Springboro, Craig Applegate (Liana Perry) of NY, and Jessica and Jacqueline Capizzi of Centerville. Funeral services will be 12 PM Mon. May 14 at Alpha Community Church. Jim Cole will be officiating. Burial 2 PM Wed. May 16 in Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery in Baker, WV.
