Lillian Charlene Fries' Obituary
FRIES, Lillian Charlene (Hunn), age 72, of Oregonia passed away Thurs. Oct. 9, 2014 at her residence. Born Aug. 3, 1942 to Miriam D. Hunn (Patterson) and Charles Edwin (Bud) Hunn in Dayton. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1960 and Manchester College's two year program. Brethren volunteer service two years in Washington D.C., worked two years in Elgin, IL for Church of the Brethren, and sang in Sweet Adalene's chorus. She moved back to Dayton and worked at Kettering Hospital, getting married in 1967. She moved to Adams County and worked at the Adams County Hospital. After moving to the Lebanon area she worked for Lebanon City Schools, retiring after 22 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Carol Hunn (Sherfy). She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Alfred James Fries; sons Thomas (Linda) of Lebanon and Andrew (Robin) Fries of Middletown; sisters Gloria (Ken) Landis of Dayton and Kathy (Robert) Chambers of TN; brothers Gene Hunn of Dayton and Dick (Sharon) Hunn of PA; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services 10 AM Wed. Oct. 15 at the West Side Church of Christ, Lebanon. Burial will be in Turtle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tues. at the church.
