LEE, Linda Sue, age 82, of Waynesville, passed away Sun., Jan. 5, 2020 at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown. Linda graduated from Wilbur Wright High School, class of ’55. She retired in 2013, after working for over 20 years at Read Obituary
I worked with Linda Lee at the Pioneer Village for a number of years. we always had a good time together. she was passionate about the Village and serving the guests that came to see the Village. She will be missed. Judy (Mc Fadden) Harrison
I was greatly saddened to her of Linda's passing, I so enjoyed giving her rides to the village and hearing her stories, she had a wealth of knowledge of the history of the Village and funny stories. she was one of the first people I met when I joined the village, she welcomed me and shared her wisdom. when I would pick her up to bring her to the Village we would stop at the carryout on the corner near the Village and we would get gravy and biscuits, and her a Pepsi, I think she looked forward to us stopping. Linda was part of the foundation of Pioneer Village. She was always willing to share stories and teach a long lost skill to anyone. She knew no stranger and was willing to open her heart and home to anyone. I'm sure she and Frank are watching everyone shaking their heads, laughing and betting on what will happen next. Who knows - maybe she will haunt the village.
I remember Linda from Pioneer Village. She and her children volunteered many years there. Linda was hard working and always had a smile on her face. The kind of person that doesn’t know a stranger. Sorry to hear of her passing. Praying for comfort for the family.
