One of the funniest memories I have of Linda was her telling me she had a new poster of Donny Osmond. And that's why her favorite color was purple and that she was wearing purple socks because he did!!
My sweetest memory of Linda was the little hand-wrapped gifts she would send all eight of us Line kids every Christmas. I will never forget as soon as the package arrived, my mom would talk to us and make sure we knew that Linda worked all year long to save up to be able to go to the store and pick out small gifts for each of us. She explained her struggles just to go to work and save and be able to give. She explained that being able to give them made Linda so happy. Those sweet gifts meant so much to me and formed my own lifetime values about gifts and gift-giving and my strong belief that a gift's value comes from the giver's love, not the purchase value of the object itself. Linda's gifts and her unconditional love made Christmas a sweet lasting memory.
I love the life she blessed the world with. I will miss you Aunt Linda. Heaven got a little sweeter yesterday.
Love, Kelly (Line) Valle
