I remember Mrs. Parker and my mom being band moms together with lots and lots of laughter and making the sauerkraut fudge together. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing.

Linda was a huge part of the Waynesville United Methodist church family and I was
so blessed to become friends with her in faith. She always had a smile and I have many memories of our fun times together. She will be missed ❤️
Linda was always an active member in the Progressive Women's Club.
From being the club president to volunteering to stand outside in December to collect money for the soldier boxes program. We will miss our friend more than words can express.

One of my favorite memories with my grandma is from when I was little and she would come visit us in North Carolina. We would sit together on the porch, and she would play “tickle face,” lightly brushing her hands over my face until I couldn’t stop laughing. I also remember us sitting side by side on the couch, taking turns playing games on her Kindle (Mojang and solitaire) while I snuggled up close to her. She would gently rub my ears or play with my hair, and in those quiet moments, I felt so loved and safe.
