Lloyd "Bud" Davis' Obituary
DAVIS, Lloyd E. “Bud” age 77 formerly of Lebanon and Highland County passed away Mon. Oct. 23, 2006 at the Miami Valley Hospital. Bud was born March 7, 1929 to Mack and Sadie Davis in Waynesville. He retired from Miami University after 15 years of service and greatly enjoyed racing, the Cincinnati Reds, football, boxing, fishing, playing the drums, and was known to be a good mechanic. He was preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence and Charles Davis, one sister Doris Shaffer, and one nephew John Shaffer. He is survived by his longtime companion Lorene Fugate; four nephews Larry Lee and his wife Connie Davis, Jerry and his wife Alexin Shaffer, Fred and his wife Jean Davis, and Jimmy Davis; two nieces Dianne Hill and Joyce Custenborder; in-law Mary Shaffer; foster brother Roscoe Rector; and several great nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services 11:00 A.M. Sat. Oct. 28 at STUBBS-CONNER FUNERAL HOME, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sat. at the funeral home.
