Lois A. Bishop's Obituary
BISHOP, Lois A., age 78, of Lebanon and formerly of Centerville, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, at West Chester Hospital.
Lois worked many years as a manager for Perkins and Old Country Buffet in the Dayton area, always with a positive and upbeat attitude.
Family-oriented, outgoing, caring, and loving, Lois loved to make others laugh and was always the life of the party with her fun-loving personality. Her hobbies included flower gardening and crafts. In her later years, she also became fond of going out while playing Bingo. She was an excellent cook and was known for her liver and onions, which she made different and more special than restaurants by frying them and then baking. Among many things, she will be remembered for the way she encouraged others, especially her family. She was always telling people to follow their dreams and that they could do anything they put their mind to. She will also be remembered for how much she enjoyed feeding and caring for the backyard birds, which she always liked to sit and watch while drinking her morning coffee.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Georgianna Kerns and one brother Ralph Kerns. She is survived by her three loving children Kevin (Kelly) Bishop, Brian Bishop, and Rhonda Ann (Tim) Williams; six grandchildren Michelle (Ryan) Senters, Jennifer Bishop, Alexandra (Daniel) Waller, Michael Bishop, Allyson Williams, and Brandon Byrd; six great-grandchildren Austin, Cameron, David, Katelyn, Landon, and Avery; one brother Daniel (Tish) Kerns; and sister-in-law Effie Kerns.
