I will always remember the kindness and encouragement Loren showed me during my high school years. He made a lasting impact on so many of his students. Thank you for the lessons, the support, and the memories. Your patience, and dedication made a difference in ways that will never be forgotten. I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to know you! You will be deeply missed.
I will always remember how kind and generous Loren was and how much he loved his family and friends. I will always remember how he and Sherry invited me in to their home after I dropped off some political signs for their yard. He was a true Patriot and strong believer in Christ and will be greatly missed.

I remember some of the mischievous antics that Loren and Keith Frasure occasionally pulled in classrooms at Waynesville High School.
During our freshman French class, Loren suddenly blurted out a phrase in French that apparently included a curse word. Instantly, every eye in the room turned toward Loren and Keith—and then toward our French teacher, Mrs. Hartsock. Loren and Keith could barely hide their chuckles as they issued their playful challenge to her, glancing around the classroom as if inviting the rest of us into the comedy.
To everyone’s surprise, Mrs. Hartsock accepted the challenge. She fired back with a quick, heated response in French that none of us fully understood, but it was clearly a rebuke aimed at Loren and Keith. What made the moment even better was the subtle smile on her face, which showed she was enjoying the exchange as much as they were.
Those harmless classroom antics still bring a warm smile to my face as I remember my friend Loren—my best man, and a great Christian man.
