Lucille E. Falkenstein's Obituary
FALKENSTEIN, Lucille E. age 90 of Lebanon passed away Fri. Aug. 11, 2006 at her Otterbein Home residence. Born April 19, 1916 William and Elizabeth Johnson in Cleveland, OH. Lucille greatly enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crafts, animals of all kinds, and in her younger days bowling, baking, and boating and fishing on Lake Erie. Also in her younger days she enjoyed volunteering at the Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1982 and sister Gertrude Strasser. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Judy and Terry Russell and Joanne and David Kelch all of Oregonia; three grandchildren David and his wife Babette Russell, Tracy and her husband Jim Shaynak, and Tim and his wife Nancy Russell; seven great grandchildren Andrew, Alexandra, Sydney, Emma, Victoria, Abigail, and Justin; and one brother William and Alleen Johnson of New Bury. Funeral services 2:00 P.M. Sat. at the Otterbein Home Chapel. Pastor Jim Ludwig officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sat. at the chapel. The family will again receive friends Noon – 1 P.M. Tues. Aug. 22 at the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel in North Olmsted, OH. Graveside services will follow at 1 P.M. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Otterbein Home in Lebanon, or the Salvation Army.
