Mafrey Ramsey's Obituary
RAMSEY, Mafrey age 83, of Hamilton and formerly of Lebanon and Waynesville departed this life to be with the Lord on Wed. Dec 26, 2007 at Mercy Hosp. in Fairfield. A life-long devout Christian, she was well loved and respected in all the churches she attended throughout the years. She was very skilled in sewing, cooking, gardening and all aspects of homemaking. But her real pride and joy was her family, whom she dearly loved and served through her Godly example. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Leland Ramsey; parents, Jesse & Julia Isaacs; a son, Russell Ramsey; a sister, Margie Kersey, and a brother Jesse Isaacs Jr.
She is survived by three sons, Leroy and his wife Gilda of Waynesville, Marcus and his wife Peggy of Monroe, and Lyndon and his wife Shirley of St. Charles, IL; two daughters, Louise and her husband Carl Chaney and Kimberly Preston both of Hamilton: nine grandchildren David Chaney, Angela Croucher, Lisa Morgan, Jason Ramsey, Tricia Wilder, Lynda Ramsey, Cindy McGee, Chris Ramsey, and Daniel Preston; 14 gt. grandchildren, Devin, Douglas, Andrew, Alayna, Alex, Makaley, Madison, Mason, Shannon, Bethany, Bradley, Brianna, Natalie, and Nicholas; and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services are 1:00 PM Monday 12/31/07 at the Dodds Pentecostal Church Waynesville with burial at Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
