Marcia McFadden's Obituary
McFadden, Marcia A. age 55 of Dayton passed away Friday May 27, 2011. She was born June 30, 1955 in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her father Richard McFadden. Survived by her mother Bernice McFadden of Dayton; two brothers Philip of Washington Township and Jeffrey of Eaton; nephews Shawn (Jessica), Christopher, and Gregory all of TX; great niece Mahlina of TX; niece Michelle and great niece Paige of TN; niece Amy of Miamisburg; her very caring aunt Jeanette Kruer of Miamisburg; and her beloved Toy Poodle "Buffy". Marcia graduated from Centerville H.S., class of '73, and also from Sinclair Community College. She worked 25 years as a loyal employee of Dayton Progress Corp., serving as an executive assistant to the president(s), and also planned and coordinated various events such as company picnics, children and Christmas parties, awards dinners etc. Marcia was an avid oil painting artist and most of all a loving, devoted, and supportive aunt to all her nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Thursday, June 2 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Memorial services to follow at 3 PM. The Reverend Robert Wade officiating, Fairmont Presbyterian Church. Burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Cancer Center of Greater Dayton.
