Margaret "Maggie" J. Soule's Obituary
SOULE, Margaret “Maggie” J., age 63, of Waynesville, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at her residence.
Maggie retired in 2007 after 35 years of service as a designer at her father’s business, Caryco Manufacturing, in Waynesville.
Loving, caring, kind, giving, and helpful, Maggie was often silly and fun-loving to those she cared about. She greatly enjoyed beadwork, sewing, and working in her yard. She had an artistic mind and loved to create art from abstract metal. She loved animals and always seemed to have a pet to care for, especially her beloved dogs and pet bird. In addition, while growing up, Maggie enjoyed horses. Among many things, she will be remembered as the family historian, keeping family photos and family facts well organized and recorded. She will also be remembered as a collector of anything interesting.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Coons, and her brother, Joel Coons. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David, her mother, Madelyn Coons, and many close friends and extended relatives.
Private family services will be scheduled at a later date. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward the funeral expenses. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
