Marjorie J. Welch's Obituary
WELCH, Marjorie J. age 87, of Waynesville, passed away Wed. Nov. 8, 2017 at her residence.
Marjorie was a member of the New Freedom Church in Lebanon. A talented artist, she won many awards over the years at the county fair. She was also an excellent pianist, playing beautifully without sheet music. She greatly enjoyed playing the piano for many weddings over the years. She loved antiques and owned an antique shop in Waynesville for a while.
Marjorie was very family oriented, yet private with her personal life. She was an orderly lady and was known for keeping her home neat and tidy. She will also be remembered for always enjoying the beauty in life, especially flowers and sunsets.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1987; her parents Eli and Mattie Reynolds; and three sisters Grace Gibson, Frances Lamb, and Sharon Barker. She is survived by her son Ellis (Lorna) Welch; three grandchildren Rochelle (Joe) Perkins, Brandon (Tanya) Welch, and Charles Welch; four great grandchildren Ryan Perkins, Lynsey Perkins, Asher Welch, and Zane Welch; three brothers Fred (Lois) Reynolds, Acy Dean Reynolds, and William (Judy) Reynolds; three sisters, Ivalene Kingan, Boots (John Albert) Walker, and Peggy (Marc) Ramsey; very dear friend Ray C. Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Funeral services 12 PM Tues. Nov. 14 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Pastor Dennis Bunnell will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
