Mark E. Dimbath's Obituary
DIMBATH, Mark E., age 93, of Springboro, passed from this life into eternal life on October 25, 2022. Mark was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 31, 1929, and graduated from Patterson Co-Op High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Norma, his parents, Vernon and Helen Dimbath, and a sister, Carol Dimbath. He is survived by his children, Keith (Christi) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kent (Brenda) of Bellbrook, Kevin (Judy) of Springboro, and Karen (Tom Dermis) of Springboro, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and sisters Joanne Schuster of Kettering, and Nancy Landis of Vandalia.
Mark and Norma provided a loving, Christian home where they dedicated themselves to each other and to their children. Keith, Kent, Kevin, and Karen enjoy many wonderful memories of both of them. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed being a part of special activities and milestones in their lives.
Mark was a member of Crossview Christian Church, where he served in various leadership roles. In his later years, he attended Heritage Christian Church. He was employed at the Standard Register Company for 38 years. For several years in retirement, he was a school bus driver for the Centerville City Schools.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville, Ohio. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, October 27, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A service celebrating Mark’s life be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, at the funeral home with Scot Gorsuch officiating. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Corwin, Ohio.
