Marolein Kathryn Fry's Obituary
FRY, Marolein Kathryn, age 77, of Wilmington and a snowbird of Frostproof, FL, went to be with her Lord Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her residence. She was born December 18, 1943 to Robert and Mary Stegemoeller.
Marolein graduated from Waynesville High School, class of ’61. For 18 years, she served as a school bus driver for Clinton Massie and Wayne Local Schools. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Frostproof and Waynesville Church of Christ.
She had a natural instinct to care for others, which made her a great team member on the Chester Twp and New Burlington Fire Department, the Citizen Patrol Neighborhood Watch Program in Frostproof, and the South West Ohio Dairy Goat Association.
Being able to create beautiful items out of piles of fabric was her specialty. Her children never had to buy an outfit until they got to high school because she was always up for the challenge of creating something new. She left a legacy of creating quilts for every family member.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert E. Stegemoeller. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Clarence N. Fry Jr.; two sons James Robert Fry (Sharils Harris) and Dale N. (Jodie) Fry; two daughters Kathryn (Craig) Felton and Carol Diane Teboe (Wendell); 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one sister Helen Marie (Steven) Yigaer.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 15 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
