Marvin E. Spears' Obituary
SPEARS, Marvin E., age 74, of Waynesville, passed away Sat., Nov. 9, 2019 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
Marvin was a Vietnam Army veteran. He retired from DimcoGray Company in 2008 after 45 years of service.
Funny yet somewhat quiet, Marvin had a good sense of humor and would like to joke with people. He was also know to participate in a good debate from time to time. He was a country boy at heart, and back in the ’60’s he greatly enjoyed racing cars. He also liked to help his wife in the garden and go hunting and fishing. After he retired, fishing became his happy place and he would take every opportunity to cast a line in the water from his boat or from the bank.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lafayette and Minnie Spears and two sisters Martha Blackburn and Leona Roop. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eunice; two sons Gregory Wayne (Melissa) Spears and Marvin Lee Spears; five grandchildren Brittany (Richard) Combs, Gregory Alan (Marguerita) Spears, Cody Spears, Amber (Johnathon) Sechrist, and Steven Spears; great granddaughter Sophia; one brother Lonis (Carolyn) Spears; and three sisters Cindy (Clyde) McCoy, Letha Mae Plymail, and Lynn (William) Kinny.

Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 10 AM - 12 PM Wed. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
