Mary A. Will's Obituary
WILL, Mary A., age 94, of Lebanon and formerly of Illinois, passed away Mon. Nov. 26, 2018 at Otterbein Senior Life in Lebanon.
With a sweet and happy personality, Mary loved life. She was witty, with a fun sense of humor, and always had a smile and a laugh that could fill a room. She greatly enjoyed socializing with others, and in her own words, was always “perking along.” She also enjoyed painting, ceramics, gardening, flowers, and birds. Mary loved the barbershop quartet and chorus that her husband sang with for many years. She and their daughter, Pat, traveled many places to see them perform, with the most notable experience being a 17 day trip to Scandinavia in 1972. She loved Snoopy and the Peanuts, and collected many items representing them. She also collected Precious Moments and Boyd’s Bears.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1996; her parents George and Adele Frey; her brother Paul Frey; great niece Trisha Pons; and great great niece Abigail Pons. She is survived by her daughter Patricia A. Will; two nieces Paula Pons and Laura Stacy; two nephews David and Daniel Frey; great nieces Kris, Liz, and Mikayla; and great great nieces and nephews Austin, Ava, Charley, and Oliver.
The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sat. December 8 at Laird Funeral Home in Elgin, IL. A celebration of life service will be 4:00 PM Sat. Dec. 8 at Laird Funeral Home. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family in Ohio. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
